From the M62 (Leeds or Manchester);
Leave the M62 at junction 24 and follow the dual carriage way to a large roundabout. On the roundabout, take the 4th exit, signed A629 Huddersfield. Follow the A629 approximately 1 mile until you reach a crossroads with traffic lights. You will see a public house called 'The Cavalry Arms' on your right and a large modern church on your left. At this junction turn left onto Birkby Road. Follow Birkby Road for approximately 2-300 yards and take the first street on the right, Inglewood Avenue. Follow Inglewood Avenue as it bends to the right, then back left and up a small hill and follow the road round to the right at the top of the hill. From here you need to go straight on, staying to your left at the small fork in the road.
Woods End B&B is No. 46, the last larger house on the right, look out for the 'Enjoy England' sign in the porch window.
From Huddersfield town centre;
Follow the Huddersfield ring road clockwise until you see signposts for the A629 Halifax and the M62 motorway. Follow the slip-road off the ring road and you will be on the A629. Follow this road for approximately 4 miles until you reach a crossroad with a public house 'The cavalry Arms' on your left. At this junction make a right turn onto Birkby Road and follow the direction as above.
